SriLanka, Stay Strong
I am about to converse with you all, right now with the deeply shocked mind. My hands are still shaking and can't imagine how to begin.
Sri Lanka was brutely attacked while on the morning Easter prayers in Catholic churches and while having the Easter breakfast and holidaying in top five stars hotels in Colombo. Many local and foreign innocent civilians lost their lives, loved ones and injured badly due to the bomb explosions.
As we know, Sri Lanka is a multiethnic, multireligious country where Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims, Burghers and Malays and so on live in harmony. We all, Sri Lankans could defeat the terrorism which prevailed in our country for 30 years only because of the peace, loving-kindness spread out without any religious discrimination.
As sensible people, we are badly hurt due to this catastrophe, but I strongly believe this is not the time to give prominence to your heart but to your wisdom. People need to think wisely not to make any person uncomfortable with your words or behaviour or by sharing photographs and videos. The most important thing is to build up the terror-free nation where all civilians can come outdoor without hesitation and without any ethnic or religious discrimination.
The victims are our family. They are our parents, siblings, daughters and brothers. We need to be together and must extend our helping hand to build up their mentality through love and kindness.
Sri Lankans are truly bound with brotherhood which has no issues. It proves how people were there in queues to donate blood for the victims. There were Buddhists, Hindus, Islamists and Christians in the queues to donate blood. I strongly believe that's humanity which should be nourished in as a nation.
A certain group of human beings proved that they are not really human beings by being demons. It's true that fertile sperms and ova can create human beings but how many of them can bring themselves up by being humans. Humanity is what we should discuss widely and must inculcate in our offsprings.
Finally, I extend my heartfelt condolences and sympathies for all the departed family members and may all injured recover as soon as possible. May all wish not to occur such a tragic situation in any part of the world.
For this, Let's be vigilant, be alert and raise your voice against terrorism, spread loving-kindness and humanity, help police and security forces and stay strong.
