The world, Thank you for being with us

Easter Sunday was a horrible day to all Sri Lankans due to the chain of bombings done by Islamic extremists terrorists. There are no words to explain how innocent people suffer from losing their family members, loved ones. These extremists mercilessly killed not only Sri Lankans but also more than twenty foreign tourists who visited SriLanka for an enjoyable stay. First of all, behalf of all the Sri Lankans, I express my deepest sympathies to their families and we are sorry that we couldn't save you.

Now, Sri Lanka is in a critical condition but we believe that we are able to recover ourselves as soon as possible. The rumours can be spread out all over the world on the safety of Sri Lanka. Foreigners may have doubt and may think twice or more before they visit Sri Lanka but I must say this will prevail for a short time. We never let our country down. Police, the Security forces even the civilians are vigilant and on alert. Although Sri Lanka has faced a crisis like this, many foreign good souls have expressed that they'll be visiting Sri Lanka without hesitation. Not only that, some good-hearted people still confirm that Sri Lanka as a safe country for holidays and at the same time, they extend their support to us.

We, Sri Lankans, thank you all for your overwhelming words and the support you all extended to us on this painful situation. We are humbly happy about you all and we'll be waiting for you to welcome you all with the same hospitality as Sri Lankans are known for.
